HUNTER.IO PRICING / FIND, VERIFY, SEND

One pool.
Different actions.

Hunter Starter includes 2,000 credits per monthly term. Finding an email uses one credit; verifying an address uses half a credit. Sending a sequence does not use these credits. Build the budget from the work you actually bill, including how you repeat it.

How much is Hunter.io?

The official All-in-One plan guide publishes these USD rates. Our browser displayed EUR on the pricing page; the dollar figures below come from that guide, rather than a currency conversion.

Published USD platform prices, October 20, 2026. Annual billing is paid upfront.
PlanMonthly paymentAnnual paymentMonthly creditsAnnual credits upfront
Free$0—50Monthly grants only
Starter$49$408 ($34 × 12)2,00024,000
Growth$149$1,248 ($104 × 12)10,000120,000
Scale$299$2,508 ($209 × 12)25,000300,000

These prices apply to the shared plan, with unlimited team members. Adding a colleague does not multiply the allocation. Connected sending accounts have separate plan limits: Starter includes three, Growth ten and Scale twenty. Extra accounts and services can add costs.

REPRODUCIBLE ACTION LEDGER

What uses 1,600 credits?

Assume a fresh monthly Starter quota, no prior usage, and the following work in one billing period. Counts are hypothetical. The verification rows refer to a separate existing list; they are not an extra charge asserted for Hunter’s included auto-verification of newly found leads.

All-in-One unified credits. Repeats are already included in the request counts.
WorkRequestsBilling assumptionCredits
Email Finder results1,0001,000 found × 11,000
Email Verifier results1,400200 eligible repeats free; 1,200 × 0.5600
Unknown verifications200Failed verification; no charge0
Sequence sends3,000No unified-credit charge0
Total5,600 actionsNot distinct contacts1,600

This leaves 400 credits from a 2,000-credit quota. Repeat the workload for three monthly terms: 4,800 credits are consumed, 800 unused credits from the first two terms expire, and 400 remain at the end of term three. On a new annual Starter plan, the same three months leave 19,200 of the initial 24,000 credits, still within the annual term.

When do repeats become billable?

Hunter’s duplicate-request guide distinguishes billing periods from calendar months. Monthly All-in-One repeats are counted once per billing period; yearly and Data Platform repeats are counted once per calendar month. Team members share duplicate tracking.

Separate bulk CSV uploads are an exception: duplicates across those files can be charged again. In the worked case, charging all 1,400 verification results instead of exempting 200 repeats makes the month use 1,700 credits. That is 100 more credits for the same request count. Download the separate-upload case (CSV).

The annual example starts January 1 with monthly periods aligned to calendar months. It assumes 200 eligible repeats within each month, with the other results billable. It does not carry a free-repeat assumption across month boundaries. For a different start date, classify requests against the actual billing and calendar dates before using the credit budget calculator.

What if the month needs 2,100 credits?

Increase found emails to 1,500 while keeping the 600-credit verification workload. Demand becomes 2,100 credits, leaving a 100-credit shortfall. Hunter’s credit-pack guide lists a Starter pack of 100 credits for $10. Using that published pack yields $10 additional cash and zero closing credits in this case.

Download the 100-credit top-up case (CSV). Packs last three months and are one-time purchases unless auto-purchase is enabled. The guide also contains conflicting examples and caps for larger packs; we use only the listed 100-credit Starter option here. Confirm availability and the final price at checkout. The model applies one chosen pack size, not an automatic search for the cheapest purchase.

What is paid over three months?

One Starter plan, platform subscription only, starting a new term in month 1.
MeasureMonthly termsAnnual term
Cash due$147$408
Service consumed$147$102
Service prepaid after month 3$0$306

The annual option uses $261 more cash inside this window while assigning $45 less subscription cost to the three months consumed. Prepaid service is not a cash refund. These baseline payments exclude top-ups, taxes, mailboxes and labor. Download monthly payments (CSV) · Download annual payments (CSV). Enter the rest of the budget in the stack cost calculator.

Does the same calculation work for Data Platform?

Use different inputs. The official Data Platform guide describes separate Search and Verification quotas, with no Sequences. Its published USD examples are $50 for 1,000 Search credits, $11 for 1,000 Verification credits, or $61 for both, valid within a twelve-month plan. That is not a $61 monthly outreach subscription.

The usage guide gives Data Platform verification a weight of one Verification credit, compared with half a unified credit on All-in-One. Keep separate ledgers for those pools. A spare Search credit cannot cover a Verification shortfall. Bulk Domain Search also groups up to ten returned emails per domain into a credit, unlike revealing individual emails in Domain Search; count groups per domain before entering an action total.

How should you use these examples?

The six CSVs use our existing cash and credit engines, with exact arithmetic before final currency rounding. Fresh monthly allowances expire before the next period. The annual allowance arrives once and carries within twelve periods. Initial used and expired amounts are zero. The baseline needs no extra purchase; its zero additional-credit cash does not make the subscription free.

Check the action status, repeat window, pool and quote first. The billing FAQ says currency depends on billing address and applicable US sales tax is assessed for the customer’s location. Zero tax in these platform-only calculations excludes tax from scope; it does not assert tax exemption.

Sequence sends consuming zero credits says nothing about permitted daily volume, inbox placement, replies or permission to contact a person. We have not tested these outcomes.
